Beaconsfield JFC are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Beehive Foundation. Over a 3-year period they will work with our coaching teams to build positive experiences for players and club volunteers alike. In what will be an extensive and innovative development program, the coaching team will be empowered to continue to build a fair and safe environment within the club that will help develop important life skills in young players to help them achieve their full potential both on and off the field.

Monash Children’s Cancer Centre fundraiser in support of Luke 2016

On Thursday 18th August, up to 1000 loyal Beacy members showed their true community spirit by attending our fundraiser to raise funds for the new Monash Hospital Children’s Cancer Centre in conjunction with the “My Room” Charity Group. This was also a great opportunity for us to show one of our own; Luke Parkinson from U11′s, just how much we care as he faces a tough battle against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. The Parkinson family were completely humbled & overwhelmed with the support and it was very reassuring to see how beneficial a sporting club can be to families in our area.

Many Thanks to our ever so loyal volunteers, Executive Committee members, Leadership Academy & supporters for doing what ever was needed at such short notice and especially our Canteen Manager; Pam for going over & beyond to assist with an obliging, happy smile on her face as she has done throughout the year. To all those generous families who donated money & items to this worthy event we say – Thankyou!

Special thanks to the CFA & SES for their attendance. Andrew Savige (owner of) Bakers Delight – Berwick Marketplace & Parkhill. Andrew has been ever so kind this year with donating bread whenever we have asked. To Rush Mobile Cafe, Giant Bikes & Heidi Visser for there kind donations.

We raised $2825.00 (and that amount is still growing) which was a fabulous outcome given that our event only went for a bit over an hour! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!

Winners of the Coles Vouchers – Melissa Kolbeck, Kris Young & Christina Cigetic

The two $600 Mountain bikes that were donated by Giant Bikes will be drawn on Presentation Say (Sun 11th Sept).
