All coaches are required to complete the AFL Coach Registration for 2024. We have detailed a step by step guide below to assist
Please go to https://afl.androgogic.com.au/ and click
Please make sure you use the same email address you use for PlayHQ, as this is how your accreditation will be linked and verified.
Once logged in, you will be presented with your home screen, click “Register to Coach in 2024” to start
Step 1 : Complete your Coaching Profile
Complete all of your personal information and proceed to the Coaching Role 1 section at the bottom of the page, and click “Add coaching role”:
Fill out the information relating to your 2024 role. It is important to select the correct League & Club to ensure your accreditation is reflected in PlayHQ
Step 2 : Complete the “Welcome to COACHAFL in 2024” module
Follow the prompts to watch the videos and read the associated texts.
Step 3 : Complete Renewal Module – Concussion Protocols
Each year coaches need to complete a new module topic as determined by the AFL. This season is focused on concussion management, and the important role coaches play in it. Please ensure you take the time to watch the videos and read the text, there are some great videos towards the end of the module that showcase some great drills to implement that support the players avoiding concussions.
Course Completion
Once you have completed all of the elements of the module you have completed the 2024 Coach requirements. Once this is done, please let the secretary know via email that you have completed this, so we can ensure the information is reflected in PlayHQ and you’re ready to Coach!
