The Beaconsfield Junior Football Club recommends that all players have their own Ambulance cover.
In the unlikely event that an Ambulance call out is deemed necessary by the person in charge of first aid at the game, parent or guardian, an Ambulance will be called for. The player that it is called for will be required to cover the cost of the call out, regardless of whether or not transfer to casualty is required. The cost of an Ambulance from most grounds in our direct area to an available hospital could be several thousand dollars. Whilst the club has a high level of personal accident insurance cover for on the ground playing injuries our policy does have limits for each claim.
